Three DANGEROUS effects of long term CONSTIPATION

THREE dangerous effects of long term CONSTIPATION
Mild Constipation can have little negative effect on our day-to-day living such as;
- bloating; being filled with gases,
- stomach pains,
- and blood in stool.
But when this condition is chronic, things can get really bad.

Here are THREE dangerous effects of long term CONSTIPATION;
1. Anal fissures: due to the dryness of the stool, its movement in the anal region can cause fissures or tears in the skin around the region. The fissures can become infected which might require surgical attention.
2. Haemorrhoids: this is as a result of the strains on the veins in the rectum and anus. Forcefully trying to push out the stool, displaces the veins outward causing bleeding in some severe cases.
3. Rectal Prolapse: after the rectum become stretched from the accumulation of stool, Rectal Prolapse occurs when it fails to return to its original size after defecating. Part of the rectum now protrudes outside the anus as a pinkish bubble. It is usually painful and causes bleeding. Surgical procedure is correct this.
Do your best to prevent CHRONIC CONSTIPATION; eat FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.
